It is strongly advised that SMSF Deeds are reviewed before 1 July 2017 and updated where necessary.
We are pleased to advise JMA Legal has reviewed and amended its SMSF Deed to satisfy the upcoming Federal legislative changes.
In particular our deed allows for:
– Transfer between accounts to ensure the transfer balance caps are not exceeded;
– Creation of segregated funds if required;
– Binding nominations or election by a member’s Will to ensure the Trustee pays a death benefits as intended.
Our Deed has always been as broad as possible to enable it to remain current despite Court decisions and legislative change.
We also take pride the fact that the rules are only 13 pages in length, making them much easier to read.
Our fixed fee to update rules is $495 Inc. GST. If deeds in bulk are to be updated we can negotiate a reduced fee to do so.
